Description
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Web Developer with expertise in WordPress management and front-end design to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing WordPress websites, ensuring they perform well, remain secure, and reflect modern design aesthetics. This role also includes collaborating with team members to update content, troubleshoot issues, and deliver visually engaging user interfaces. Familiarity with graphic design tools and a strong sense of design are essential.
Key Responsibilities
WordPress Management
Regular updates and maintenance of WordPress core, themes, and plugins.
Troubleshooting and resolving bugs or issues on WordPress websites.
Security monitoring and implementation of best practices to protect websites.
Configuring existing features and functionalities to meet business needs.
Performance Optimization
Enhance site performance through optimization techniques (e.g., caching, database optimization).
Ensure websites are mobile-friendly and meet web accessibility standards.
Content & User Management
Manage and update website content, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
Oversee user management and role assignments for website contributors.
Technical Support & Consulting
Provide general technical support and consultation on WordPress management.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders to address requirements and feedback.
Qualifications
Proven experience in WordPress development, including theme and plugin customization.
Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive web design principles.
Experience with front-end frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap, Tailwind CSS) is a plus.
Familiarity with graphic design tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or Canva.
Knowledge of SEO best practices and website performance optimization techniques.
Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and provide effective solutions.
Strong understanding of web security standards and practices.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Preferred Skills
Experience with managed WordPress hosting platforms like WP Engine.
Experience with page builders like Elementor, Beaver Builder, or WPBakery.
Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git).
Basic knowledge of PHP for WordPress development.
Familiarity with APIs and integrating third-party tools into WordPress sites.
